Next project after completing R5
After thinking about what to build next I saw these and wanted to have a go at building.
These are the 'Droid Bays' found aboard the Royal Naboo Star ship.
There are toy versions, which I have used as a base for creating it.
Here's some more pic's from inside the ship.
And here are the CAD drawings I started drawing up in May 2013
This is not going to be a two minute job and may not even get off the ground as the internal framework also has to eb worked out. Plus it has to be light and be able to be disassembled.
This idea never came to fruition, and with the advent of 3D printing, it still could be a viable idea to make, but others are built these since, so am just posting this up from my draft post.
