James_R5D4: Have always loved Star Wars from a young age and play with all the toys. Now I'm older, I get to MAKE my own toys. I’ve built and still own TK armour, years ago, before I got into droid building. R5-D4 was built on a budget, with a young family, I didn’t have the spare cash to build an 'Aluminium' R5, so I constructed nearly everything myself, and only bought bits that where beyond my abilities to machine or fabricate. This was before the days of 3D printing. I like the challenge of finding out and making things. They say you never really finish building your droid.....well this is true. You always find something new and then upgrade your Droid. I have also been designing 3D models, these can be found on my Prusa page. I hope you enjoy reading, watching and following my progress.
